List every required print job
Separate guest receipts, kitchen tickets, reprints, register summaries, and diagnostic output. Record the desired destination, paper width, number of copies, and whether service can continue with on-screen or PDF output.
Match the terminal capability
Android can expose supported Sunmi, ATPOS, thermal, Bluetooth, USB, or network integrations depending on the device build. Other platforms should show only supported system, PDF, network, or browser printing.
Test failure states before opening
- Printer powered off or out of paper
- Network printer unreachable
- Bluetooth or USB device disconnected
- Browser print cancelled
- Order saved locally while connectivity is unavailable
Keep hardware configuration terminal-local
Merchant and branch receipt content belongs in Admin, while device addresses and platform-specific hardware settings remain owned by the POS terminal.
